Beams Road Overpass Early Works

The Beams Road Overpass project aims to alleviate congestion and enhance safety by replacing the existing rail level crossing at Beams Road in the suburbs of Carseldine and Fitzgibbon, Queensland. Early works commenced in mid-2022, focusing on upgrading the existing Carseldine station park 'n' ride facilities and constructing a new access road via Balcara Avenue to minimize disruptions during the main construction phase. The primary construction involves building a four-lane overpass bridge, along with improved pedestrian and cycling pathways, to facilitate smoother traffic flow and better connectivity for the community.
