The Square Kilometre Array (SKA) is an international initiative to construct the world's largest and most sensitive radio telescope, with sites in Australia and South Africa. In Australia, the SKA-Low telescope is being built at Inyarrimanha Ilgari Bundara, the CSIRO Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory in Western Australia. This facility will comprise 131,072 antennas, each two meters tall and shaped like a Christmas tree, designed to receive low-frequency radio waves. The observatory aims to enable transformational science, enhancing our understanding of the universe's evolution, cosmic magnetism, and the search for extraterrestrial life.
