The Destination Gold Coast (DGC) Broadbeach Pedestrian Bridge project involved constructing a new pedestrian bridge in Broadbeach, Queensland, to improve connectivity and safety for pedestrians crossing busy roadways. The bridge features modern architectural design elements and provides a safe passage over the Gold Coast Highway, linking key areas within the Broadbeach precinct. This infrastructure enhances walkability and supports the area's urban development initiatives.

The project included a vast array of constructability, technical, and environmental challenges, including having limited access to a footprint constrained site, multiple public and private stakeholders, interfacing with a range of public domain assets, and working within a sensitive marine environment.

EDCo were engaged during the bid phase to prepare detailed construction cost estimates, develop construction methodologies, and assess construction risk.
