The Eva Copper Mine, located 75 kilometers north of Cloncurry in Queensland, is an iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) resource poised to become the largest copper mine in North West Queensland. The project plans to mine approximately 170 million tonnes of ore and 381 million tonnes of waste from seven open-pit deposits over a projected mine life of 15 years. The processing plant is designed to mill 31,200 tonnes per day, with an average throughput of 11.4 million tonnes per year. The Queensland Government has declared the Eva Copper Mine a 'Prescribed Project' due to its significant economic and social importance to the region.
