The Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3 project extends the existing light rail system by approximately 6.7 kilometers, connecting Broadbeach South Station to Burleigh Heads. This extension includes eight new stations, upgraded pedestrian and cycling facilities, and an enhanced bus and rail interchange at Burleigh Heads Station. The project aims to increase connectivity, reduce congestion, and improve travel times along the Gold Coast Highway.
