The Mount Lindesay Highway Safety Improvements project involved upgrading sections of the highway between Johanna Street and South Street in Jimboomba, Queensland. The scope included widening the highway from two to four lanes, constructing a new southbound bridge over a disused rail corridor, and enhancing intersections at Johanna Street, Tamborine Street, South Street, and Brisbane Street. Additionally, new shared pedestrian and bicycle paths were installed to promote active transport. These upgrades aimed to improve safety, reduce congestion, and enhance travel times for all road users.
